The breakfast was AMAZING!!! I really appreciated the fresh, local eggs and bacon. The evening meals were also well prepared with fresh ingredients. I was very impressed by the host's entertaining magic tricks. They really enhanced our evenings.

the room I was given had a rainfall shower and two separate sinks. a bottled water and biscuits were available in the room. the breakfast included fabulous BACON.
the room overlooked the road and some road noise could be heard during evening and morning

The flowers around the pub are gorgeous. Very well looked after. The team in the restaurant were very friendly! I appreciated they was safe. The food was excellent.
My room was slightly noisy because it overlooked the road. But that was not a big problem.

The location provides convenient access to nearby attractions. The village is quaint and easily walkable. The setting is quite picturesque with many opportunities for exploration; it was perfect, though the parking was expensive.

The pub provides secure bike storage; this was a real plus. The gardens are well-maintained with ample seating. Hanging baskets create a lovely, vibrant atmosphere; it looks well cared for, definitely.

The bar features a log burner; it adds a cozy feel. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was perfect and served promptly; a positive experience for sure.

Staff were attentive and created a warm welcome. The team in the restaurant were super friendly and made great conversation. Everyone on staff seemed genuinely happy to work there, which made the stay better!
